ONEONTA, N.Y. — Authorities say an upstate New York man utilized a lifting weights weight to murder his companion and after that called 911 to report the killing.
Police in the city of Oneonta tell The Daily Star that 24-year-old Joshua Underwood utilized a substantial weight to pound the life out of Mark Morrison early Sunday.
Powers say he then went to a comfort store, called Otsego County 911 and told dispatchers, “I think I murdered my companion.”
Authorities say officers found the 52-year-old Morrison’s body in his bed in a condo building that he oversaw.
Underwood was accused of second-degree kill. He’s being held in the area imprison on $50,000 money safeguard.
His open safeguard wasn’t accessible for input.
Police say they’re exploring the thought process in the killing.
